Homemaking Services
CARE Homemaking Services is dedicated to helping older adults Age Well and Age Strong in their own homes. CARE employs Professional Caregivers who are trained to perform this work because CARE holds a 245D license through the Department of Human Services in the State of Minnesota.
The 245D statute requires specific staff competencies and documented training (e.g., vulnerable-adult reporting, person-centered planning, medication administration, incident reporting, etc.).
CARE’s trained staff deliver consistent, high-quality support, which leads to better client outcomes and that’s why people trust us for their care in their most sacred place, their homes. Our professional caregivers are trained in person-centered planning ensuring that our clients are treated with dignity, respect, and choice. Our Professional Caregivers build relationship with our clients which support their independence, preferences, and life goals.
Homemaking support includes a variety of light housekeeping and household management tasks such as:
Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
Making beds and changing linens
Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
Laundry assistance
Meal preparation and clean-up
Shopping for necessary groceries and household supplies
