  • Hours: 10 to 15 hours per week
    Location: Aitkin County Communities
    Start: Immediately
    Requirements: Passed Background Check, Training Provided

  • Provide reliable non-emergency transportation to healthcare services and other life enhancing activities to assist people in their aging journey.

    KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
    Passenger Care: Assist passengers with physical challenges to get in and out of the vehicle and into their apartments, which may include managing wheelchairs. Follow planned routes, obey traffic laws, and ensure the safety of all passengers and the vehicle.

    Vehicle Maintenance: Perform required inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

    Communication: Communicate effectively with Program Director about schedule progress and receive instructions while also providing excellent customer service to passengers.

    Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate trip logs, mileage reports, and other required documentation as directed.

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
    • Possess a valid driver’s license.
    • Maintain a clean driving record
    • Pass a comprehensive background check
    • Must carry a current Certificate of Medical Examination.
    • Must complete necessary training
